About the Author
Pete Schramm loves bringing people together! Schramm, an entrepreneur, TEDx speaker, and author, is passionate about connecting people and guiding diverse teams to tackle complex challenges. Growing up on a family farm in Butler, PA, Pete honed his work ethic and discovered his love for fostering connections.
After graduating from Sewickley Academy and completing his mechanical engineering degrees at Catholic University, he embarked on a successful career at Lockheed Martin, where he championed mentorship and collaboration in various operations and engineering functions around the globe. In 2018, Pete transitioned to MTEQ (now QinetiQ), leading a team of 100+ engineers and scientists - placing “people over process” to achieve new heights of productivity.
In 2020, Pete founded what is now Lattitude, an employee connection, survey, and retention platform that promotes engagement through meaningful conversations. Lattitude has helped organizations like the Army, Air Force, UPMC, and Financial Institutions. A certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Agile HR Practitioner, Scrum Master, and Project Management Professional (PMP), Pete remains active and enjoys traveling and learning. He has presented to 50+ organizations and is a LinkedIn TOP VOICE (influencer in multiple categories). In 2023, he joined forces with Michael McCord on the Statra board.
Pete has been recognized as a Pittsburgh 30 Under 30 awardee, he is an active member of Rotary Club, PHRA, PBEX, and Vistage. He also sits on the boards of the Homeless Children’s Education Fund (HCEF) and Sewickley Academy. While not working on the farm, building his business, or writing his books, you can find him hiking, biking, traveling, on the pottery wheel, or playing basketball. Pete's purpose is to inspire potential and ignite the fire within others.
